Shaami Fujimoto was born and raised in Inner City. Her parents immigrated to the city just after they were married, and settled themselves in Balamb. Her father, Takeo, is a manager of a very successful bank, and her mother, Ha-Neul, works as a translator in the city's major travel agency. Her younger sisters Hitomi and Shuu are currently freshmen at Inner City University. Shaami graduated from the university in spring of 2005 with a 4.0 GPA and a degree in Business. After graduation, Shaami, who was always an overachiever, took not one, but two jobs: one as a clerk in the bookstore, the other as a personal shopper, essentially combining the two loves of her life: books and clothes. Eventually, she plans to open her own store of some kind, most likely one that sells both clothes and books. For now, she enjoys her two jobs, even if it leaves her with very little free time.
