Blurb
The second child of Terrence and Kathleen Proudfoot, Brianna Proudfoot and her older sister Scarlett grew up in muggle Kilkenny, Ireland, though their parents wanted them to learn about both their magical and their muggle heritages. Both girls attended a muggle primary school before they went off to Hogwarts. At Hogwarts, Brianna was made a Prefect in her fifth year, and although she loves Quidditch, she never tried out of the Gryffindor team, preferring to focus on her studies and her goal of becoming an Auror, so although she never missed a single Quidditch match in her seven years, she always attended as a spectator. After finishing Hogwarts, she applied for Auror training and was accepted into the program, from which she graduated at the top of her class. She kept mostly to herself during her years of training, though she did socialize with some of the other trainees and some of the Aurors. She was one of the Aurors in the group that went to suss out a nest of Death Eaters, led by Brianna's idol, Alastor Moody, wherein the second-in-command, Eamon Shaughnessy, was killed at the beginning of October in 1975, which was her first real taste of what it truly meant to be an Auror. In early 1976, she moved into a new flat and reconnected with an old friend, Jacob Artois, who had been something of an older-brother figure when they had both been students at Hogwarts.
